We believe that competent, professional court preparation services should be available free of charge to all children regardless of where they live.
THE PROGRAM
The Child Witness Court Preparation Program is designed to provide direct assistance to the increasing number of children being called upon to testify in court proceedings.
The needs of the child witnesses are primarily addressed in group settings. Each group consists of two sessions requiring the commitment of both the child and an adult who will support the child in court.
A parent/caregiver session is offered at the same time as one of the child sessions. Court accompaniment is also available for all children and families wanting support on the day(s) of the court proceedings
